The team here at FoundersList has been in close contact with the Webceleb crew since the early days. It’s been obvious from day one that Scott Fetters and his team were hell bent on getting this thing off the ground.

Scott emailed me this morning to announce the official launch of WebCeleb.com – Here’s how it works:

“Webceleb has officially launched and I cordially invite you to come and check out our product.  For some of you we’ve grown to know each other well over the course of the last 2 years while our company experienced many evolutions.  I will be the first to admit, where we are today is certainly not where we were when we started, and i’m sure you can attest to that.  For everyone else, we may have only just met but I value your insight, feedback and would love to offer you the chance to come see for yourself what we are launching to the public.  If you decide to create an account, immediately after you upload a picture Webceleb will stock your account with $1 so that you can download your first song on us and see how the model works.  It would mean the world to me, if when you have some free time, you took a minute a look around the site.

Webceleb is the next generation social music store where everyone gets paid when songs are downloaded.  We believe by allowing fans and musicians to make money together, we can create a positive global impact through a community that embraces legal downloading. The music industry is about to change, only at www.webceleb.com
