We are looking for an inside sales representative to work in our corporate headquarters in downtown San Diego. This role helps prospective students find and book private music lessons with our team of nationwide certified music instructors. We are a fast-growing startup with big goals and want someone to work hard with us and help us achieve them!

Responsibilities

Answer incoming sales calls and return sales messages from prospective students (no cold calling)
Understand clients’ specific needs and make recommendations based on those needs
Book lessons to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals
Manage prospects and contact them in a timely manner
Expect to spend 75% of the day on the phone
Work closely with customer service to ensure client satisfaction for the life cycle of the client relationship
Handle customer service overflow as needed
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Requirements
The position requires that you have the following:

Friendly personality
Excellent work ethic
Strong communication skills
Previous experience in a customer-facing role
It is also an advantage if you have the following:

Ability to speak Spanish fluently
Musical background
Position Details

This is a part-time position of around 20-32 hours per week, but may move into a full-time role based on your performance and company needs. You may be scheduled to work for any day of the week, including weekends. You will be paid a base rate of $11 per hour plus commission. No relocation benefits are available; local (San Diego) candidates preferred.
