Paula Cerqueira@easybites CSO of Easy Bites App - Child & Family Nutrition Startup Throughout her career, Paula has played a critical role in the successful development, planning, implementation and assessment of health and wellbeing programming for public health initiatives, employers, and health plans – most recently Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Prior to joining the Easy Bites team, Paula worked for MIT’s Media Lab researching the role of innovation and technology in child behavior intervention strategies. She has also worked at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition investigating the impact of targeted messaging campaigns in amplifying consumer demand for healthful food choices for children in quick-serve restaurants and the efficacy of school-based physical activity programming in improving the physical literacy of children in under-served communities. Paula is a professor at Simmons University, teaching courses in Leadership in Nutrition Management and Food Production and Service Systems. She has a Master of Science in Nutrition Education from Columbia University – where it was kismet that she met her partner, Natalia. |  |
