Hi, I’m Donason Hendrickson – Founder & CEO of SafeDwellPro

I come from a hands-on, problem-solving background with a deep drive to build solutions that truly help people. While I don’t have a traditional startup or tech background, I bring relentless grit, urgency, and a clear vision to everything I do. My journey into entrepreneurship began when I witnessed the health and financial damage caused by hidden mold and water leaks in my own community. That experience inspired me to create SafeDwellPro — a smart, affordable home device that detects mold and leaks before they spiral into disaster.

I’ve already built our MVP, filed a provisional patent, and designed the initial hardware based on the ESP32 platform. We’re targeting a COGS of ~$30 and a retail price of $89, aiming to be the Nest of mold and leak prevention. I’m currently bootstrapping and in the early stages of fundraising, while refining our go-to-market and preparing for manufacturing outreach in China.

Right now, I’m building out the founding team — and I’m looking for a mission-driven co-founder to join me at this critical stage. Whether you're a technical builder (hardware/software), a product-led operator, or a growth marketer with startup experience, I’m eager to collaborate with someone who’s excited to go all-in.
