Hi! I’m Don, a Chemical Engineering undergrad passionate about fintech and tech for financial inclusion. I’m building SikaChain, an offline-first, chain-agnostic financial access protocol designed to empower underserved communities—starting in Ghana—using blockchain, USSD, and SMS channels to bring dignity and access where traditional banking can’t reach.
Right now, I’m the sole founder actively reviewing talented and mission-aligned technical cofounders to join me in building and scaling this platform. The project is currently at the MVP built stage with early designs and architecture underway.
I’m looking for a hands-on backend and protocol engineer who is passionate about blockchain, security, and building robust systems in low-bandwidth, real-world environments. Ideally, you have experience with Stellar or similar blockchains, microservice architectures, and offline-first design patterns. Strong product collaboration skills and mission alignment are a must.
I’m open to cofounders working remotely anywhere but London-based candidates are a plus for in-person collaboration.
If you’re driven by real-world impact and excited about creating foundational financial infrastructure, let’s connect!
